We are leaders in delivering sporting events and hospitality experiences for our UK and International client base. This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your accounting skills in a busy dynamic environment, the successful applicant will have at least 2/3 years’ accounting experience and hold as a minimum the AAT qualification, with the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will compile and present both the monthly and annual Financial Accounts including the Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Manage both accounts payable and receivable, including debtor chasing and cashflow management.
Reconcile bank statements along with all other balance sheet accounts.
Compile and submit the VAT returns as required.
Reconcile event finances and collaborate with the individual event managers.
Handle all ad-hoc financial queries and tasks.
Provide occasional ad-hoc support to other departments within the wider business.
Qualifications
You will hold the AAT qualification or similar and 2/3 years proven experience in a similar accounting role.
Strong organisational, numerical and analytical skills are a must.
Proficient in excel is a must, experience in Sage is preferred, although not essential
The ability to be an effective communicator, work within strict deadlines and engage in team collaboration.
